We popped in to get our fix of fish and chips (visiting from America) and weren't disappointed. Service was quick considering the line and was also friendly. Price was very reasonable considering the amount of food we got. The gigantic portions of cod and chips (complete with salt and vinegar) were hot, fresh, and tasty.

Marco's Fish Bar is an ideal place for fish and chips if you are on the way to the Athletics taking place at the Alexander Stadium or even those going to the Speedway at Perry Barr.
I have been here once and the prices are pretty good. However I was astounded about the cost of a large fish and chip bag. It was expensive and that did put me off so that lead to me buying a small bag. However the fish and chips were excellent and this is another fish and chip shop I recommend people go to.
They also do Kebabs and Pasties. Staff are very friendly and your food will be served in no time. Overall a very good chip shop and one locals should go to if they have not.
